I've been in London now for four days and this was by far my favorite meal. I didn't catch my server's name (the lady with the snake tattoo on her arm ) but she was great. She gave me great recommendations and patiently guided me through the menu. I don't go out for Indian food very often and many of the items on their menu were different than what I've seen at Indian restaurants in California. The chicken ruby was sooooo good! Thank Dishoom for the great food and experience!

Everyone said that when we were in London we had to go to Dishoom, so obviously we went to Dishoom. But only one person told me about breakfast!! Game changer. Loved the naan roll, and the keema per eedi was also delicious.

When I was in London, many local and foreign friends recommended Dishoom as a must-try for Indian cuisine. I went to the CBD location near Liverpool station around 8 pm and waited over 30 minutes because it was so busy. The receptionist didn't communicate clearly, but once we sat down, the service improved. The food was very tasty and authentic. However, my stomach didn't handle it well the next day...

Indian food in London is on another level and Dishoom is a must try. I dined here for dinner and arrived without a reservation. There was a long line but it moved quickly and the staff was so sweet and passed out chai teas for everybody waiting. It's definitely a well oiled machine here and we loved that every touchpoint felt so thoughtful. We ordered the chilli cheese toast, house chaat, chicken biryani, and spicy lamb chops. And because I had tried the chai tea in line, I ended up ordering more chai tea for my meal. Everything was absolutely delicious and I especially loved the house chaat and chilli cheese toast. Definitely need to come back in the future and try more dishes! It was definitely a highlight meal during our London trip.

I visit London a few times a year and this is ALWAYS a must every trip. The food: I have never had a dish I don't like. The depth of flavor in every dish is phenomenally crafted. We always order a bunch of plates for the table to share. Highly recommend: the lamb, the roasted chicken, broccoli salad, a curry of choice, dal. Drinks: they have such a large variety and they are all well crafted and balanced, we have had such a wide range and loved them all. Service: takes the cake for service in London. We had to queue last week as we did not have a reservation. Waited about 20 minutes and they brought umbrellas for everyone as there was a link sprinkle and even passed out multiple rounds of drinks including wine, lemonade, and chai. Without fail this is a must try if you're in town.

Modern Indian cuisine in London, what a treat. You can get Indian food anywhere in the city, but I wanted to try "the best." Dishoom lives up to its hype by somehow being cozy and elevated. Foods that don't feel indulgent, everything was flavorful and the perfect mix of flavors. Service had nothing that was lacking. For my first time, I relied on the recommendations of the server to pick out my meal, very easy. I'm so glad we came and would recommend anyone to try it out.

I know it is not authentic Indian food but this place is literally perfection. Top notch service, well curated drinks, great food and good for every type of occasion. The Ruby chicken will forever be my favorite, it is basically their take on tikka masala. So rich and creamy pairs beautifully with the rice and naan. It was my first time having their samosas, not traditional it's presented in smaller phyllo triangle shape. Still very good and flavorful. 3 was definitely a smaller app, I could eat 10 of those. My waitress was phenomenal she got me in and out. They don't do reservations so expect to wait a bit. Best to do an early or late dinner. This is ultimately my petition to get Dishoom to NYC!

I have been obsessed with Dishoom ever since I ate them for the first time years ago. It's super popular and everyone I talk to whether they are from here or visiting London seem to know it. Also evidenced by the fact that there was a 1 hour wait to get a table. They serve you chai and lemonade while you are in line which makes up for the wait...a little. The wait was 30 minutes in line and then got seated at the bar and another 30 minutes there before getting a table. Super good service, ambiance, and the food is delectable. I don't wait for an hour at any restaurant except for this one.

Read lots of great reviews on this chain of Indian restaurants. We were starving at 9pm and Dishoom was open til 11:00pm. A quick U we ride to the location in ShoreDitch and a short 10 minute wait at the bar.... Brought us to a nice table. Tip: if you get drinks at the bar they just add them to your dinner tab. Food: portions were perfect for 2 people. We ordered lots of things: vegetable samosas, chilli chicken, masala prawns, garlic and cheese naan, chicken ruby(butter chicken) and a hefty portion of rice. Service was great! Servers were running all Over the place. It was busy at 10:00pm. Although tipping is not expected in London, the restaurant does add a service charge on your bill so just be aware.
